Convection heating is one of the quickest & direct ways of heating a room. They operate by blowing air over a heated element which then rises allowing more cold air to be drawn in and heated. Some models will include a fan to aid in the convection of the hot and cold air where others rely on movement in the room to assist in the circulation of the air.
