This new SPD model, the SP1MT2, connects directly to the busbar without requiring an additional miniature circuit breaker (MCB). This clever design significantly reduces the space needed inside the consumer unit, providing electricians with an extra usable way within the board and simplifying the overall installation process.

b. TP(a) diffusers can be used without restriction
c. TP(b) diffusers are restricted as detailed below.
