The Makita DHR171 is a 17 mm cordless rotary hammer powered by an 18v LXT Li-ion battery (sold separately). The brushless motor is precision-engineered to be up to 50% more efficient than a comparative model. This means a fully charged 18v lithium-ion battery will last almost twice as long as a product running on a standard motor. It also features constant speed control, forward and reverse rotation plus an LED job light for working under low lighting conditions.
