Type A RCBOs are used to detect AC (Alternating Current) and pulsating DC (Direct Current) components. The new mini RCBO from FuseBox combines Type A & AC Type RCD protection in one, featuring a miniature design just 83mm in height—the same size as an MCB. This provides a neater, more compact fit inside a consumer unit.
The double pole design, which switches both Live and Neutral, offers the most comprehensive circuit protection available. FuseBox RCBOs are available in current ratings ranging from 6A to 40A and come in B and C type tripping curves.
Key features include current rating options from 6A to 50A, a terminal capacity of 1-16mm² L in, and 1-10mm² L out/N out, a 30mA rating, compliance with the BS EN 61009-1 standard.
